School operations, end to end
Every record a school keeps, on one record.
SchoolRadar is administration software for schools in India. A school runs its admissions, attendance registers, fee accounts, examinations, transport and library on it, and the parents of its pupils see their own child's side of the same record through a portal.
It is a closed system. There is no public sign-up: a school is onboarded by EduOrbiq, and the only people who hold an account are that school's staff and the parents of pupils enrolled there.
What a school runs on it
Admissions
Enquiries, application forms, verification and the offer — through to a pupil record and a class.
Attendance
Daily registers for pupils and staff, biometric devices, and absence notices to the parent the same morning.
Fees
Structures, instalments, receipts, concessions, arrears and online payment — with the receipt a parent can print.
Examinations
Assessments, marks entry, grading scales, result rules and report cards designed by the school.
Transport
Routes, stops, fleet and crew, per-stop fares billed alongside the rest of the fee account.
Communication
Notices, campaigns and event-driven alerts to parents — by email, SMS or the portal, with approval before they go.
Parent portal
A parent signs in and sees their own children: attendance, fees, results, timetable and the school's calendar.
One record per school
Every school is a separate tenant. A school sees its own pupils and nobody else — enforced in the database, not the screen.
Email from this platform
Who we mail, and where the address came from
Recipients. Only the parents and guardians of pupils enrolled at a school using SchoolRadar, and that school's own staff. Nobody else is ever written to.
Where the address came from. The parent gave it to the school on the admission form, and the school entered it into its own pupil record. We buy no lists, rent none, and collect no addresses from the web.
What is sent. Transactional messages about one pupil's enrolment: fee receipts and reminders, absence notices, examination results, and credentials for the parent portal. No marketing, no newsletters, no promotions — the product has no facility for them.
Who it comes from. Each school sends under its own verified address, not ours. A school that has not verified a sending identity sends nothing at all: the message is recorded as skipped and no mail is attempted. There is no shared or fallback From address.
How to stop it. Ask the school — they hold the record and can remove or suppress the address. A message that hard-bounces is suppressed automatically, and a complaint suppresses the address for the school complained about. Write to eduorbiqtech@gmail.com if a school does not act and we will suppress it ourselves.
Bounces and complaints
- Delivery, bounce and complaint events are received back from the mail provider over a signed webhook and written to a suppression list.
- A hard bounce suppresses that address across every school on the platform. A complaint suppresses it for the school complained about.
- Before every message, the sender checks that list and refuses a suppressed address — so an address that bounced once is never written to a second time.
- Bounce, complaint and delivery rates are on an operator dashboard and are reviewed daily.
